The fifth concept from Sof Hospitality — the group behind Doris Metropolitan, Hamsa, and Okto, and a James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Hospitality — Aris opened in January 2025 under executive chef Hai Avnaim. The Clarksville room is a sleek glass box among the neighborhood's old craftsman houses, with a glass-walled dry-aging locker at the entrance and a marble-topped U-shaped bar. The menu sets large-format dry-aged cuts (a bone-in strip, a 21-day porterhouse for two) against a Mediterranean register that earns its keep: hiramasa crudo, roasted beets cut tableside, and the sweetbread-filled Aris Cigar.
