From Quality Branded — the Stillman family group behind Quality Meats, Quality Italian, and the flagship Smith & Wollensky — this Midtown brasserie translates the company's steakhouse instincts into a French register at 120 West 55th Street. AvroKO designed the 200-seat room as a fictionalized Belle Époque hotel rediscovered in the 1970s: mirrored walls, Opaline chandeliers, and birds painted across columns and caned panels, a nod to fowl as the house motif. The kitchen plays contemporary takes on the canon — French onion soup, steak frites, and a generous butter service garni that arrives like a course of its own. Buzzy and steak-centric rather than hushed, it reads as a confident pre-theater table near Carnegie Hall and MoMA.
