The improbable collaboration between Tyson Cole (Uchi) and Aaron Franklin (Franklin Barbecue) — an Asian smokehouse that fuses Texas barbecue technique with Southeast Asian flavors. Smoked brisket with Thai herbs, oak-smoked chicken, frozen gin and tonics on a breezy patio. Casual, order-at-the-counter, but with two of Austin's biggest culinary names behind it. For a genuinely original mashup that only Austin could have produced.
