The Optimist Nashville

Ford Fry's Nashville oyster house — a moody, Gloucester-fishing-village space in a reclaimed Germantown warehouse, with a daily oyster roster, a Gulf-and-coastal seafood menu, and an upstairs bar (Jacqueline). The Atlanta-born Optimist brand brings a polished, sceney take on the American seafood house to Nashville. Less a Nashville original than a well-run import, but the raw bar delivers. Come for oysters and coastal cooking in a handsome warehouse room.
